Westlink has applied for candidacy to be an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum World School which offers the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP) and the Diploma Program (DP). This is an internationally accredited curriculum which focuses not just on academic development and progress but as importantly on developing the social, physical, emotional, and cultural skills needed to engage successfully in our world. It is perfect for children as they build competence in being critical thinkers as well as forward thinking young men and women keen to make a positive difference to the world in which they live.
To ensure that students are not left behind, Westlink will combine this approach with educational standards from the US Common Core Standards.
Academic Pathway
Westlink offers the rigorous International Program from Grades 1-12 that combines US Common Core Standards with the world-renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
The curriculum, which focuses on developing both essential knowledge as well as professional skills such as critical thinking and an international outlook, includes a combination of core subjects: English, Mathematics and Science, with specialist areas such as Art, Music, ICT, PE and Drama. This ensures that students are fully equipped and prepared to successfully enter university anywhere across the world.
High School Graduation & University Entrance

Since the IB Diploma is an academically robust option, students will need to achieve at a certain level in Grade 10 to be able to enter the program. In graduating with an IB Diploma, students will be able to enter universities across the world, including international universities in Vietnam.
