Our Grade 6 students embarked on an exciting excursion to the Museum of Ethnology. This trip was an opportunity for them to delve into the rich tapestry of cultures and traditions of 54 Vietnamese ethnic minority groups.
The highlight of the field trip was the outdoor display of 10 traditional houses, each showcasing the distinct architecture, interior design, and living style of a different ethnic group. Students can explore the interior, and learn about the cultural practices, beliefs, and customs of each group. Additionally, there are other exhibits such as a water puppet theater, a stone path, etc which provides insight into the daily life and social organization of the people.
Such a great day filled with discovery, learning, and newfound appreciation for cultural diversity!
