Building a culture of Respect and Well-being that we are thrilled to have Ms. Lauretta, our Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO), leading a well-being education session for our MYP students!
As students are in a crucial phase of brain development, filled with “what if” scenarios and developing their logical thinking skills, it is essential for them to understand themselves and learn to be open and empathetic towards their peers.
Through these individual and teamwork activities, Ms. Lauretta emphasized the importance of embracing each individual’s uniqueness and respecting others for who they are within our diverse community and beyond the school.
There was a reminder given to students that the Safeguarding Team is always available to talk and listen, providing a safe space for all. We are proud to support our students’ Respect and Well-being and ensure they have a supportive and understanding community to help them navigate these transformative years.
