Last week, our school celebrated International Dot Day, honoring creativity, courage and collaboration in our Visual Arts classes.
Students were encouraged to harness their creativity and express themselves in a variety of different ways. Our teacher – Ms. Olivia also shared the story of The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds to help students learn about having a growth mindset, then created their own dots inspired by the book.

Next, our little artists made awesome artwork to express their creativity and proudly displayed all of the dots together in the library for everyone to see and enjoy. Everything looked DOT-tastic!
Let’s make our mark together! Whether it’s painting, drawing, or any other form of creative expression. Every dot is unique, just like every one of our students!
