Ms. Hillary is a highly experienced international school educator with 30 years in education, including 17 years as a principal. She is a personable, creative, resilient school leader with experience in mainstream, special and international schools. In her long career in education, she has turned a failing school around through reinventing the curriculum, building a highly skilled workforce and designing a new school building. Hinchliff has a passion for curriculum design and has implemented a systematic and pedagogical change in the schools she has led. She has a Bachelor of Education Honors Degree and Postgraduate qualifications in Special Educational Needs. Hinchliff has achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship and has recently been honoured to accept a Fellowship with the Chartered College for Teaching in the UK in recognition of her 30 years of service to education.

She has many years managing international programs such as the Australian High School Program, Kind Education's Advanced Level Foundation, and the Oxford International Curriculum program.

Driven by her newfound enthusiasm, Nella pursued a Master's in Education, honing teaching expertise. An exciting opportunity arose as her school introduced the Diploma Program, enabling her to teach IB Global Politics and Theory of Knowledge. As her career advanced, she took on the role of Middle School Coordinator. Her journey took an international turn when she joined a Westlink International School as the MYP Coordinator, still under the ISP banner. Nella's free time is devoted to her love of travel, often exploring new countries with her family. She also has a keen interest in learning new languages, embracing the challenges of mastering different tongues.

Martin has over 20 years of teaching experience both in Australia and internationally. He began his international teaching journey in 2021 as an English Curriculum Coordinator and PYP Year Six teacher at the Australian International School in Ho Chi Minh City. Now, as Head of Primary at Westlink International School in Hanoi, Martin leads a diverse team, focusing on fostering a student-centered environment. Having completed his Master’s in International Education with a specialisation in the International Baccalaureate (PYP) through the University of Melbourne, Martin remains committed to continuous professional growth and innovative educational practices. Outside of his professional role, Martin enjoys playing the drums and cherishes quality time traveling with his family and friends during holidays.

Lauretta is a Resource Development professional, with 20 years of industry experience, she brings to Westlink a wide range of expertise and knowledge that nurtures and caters to each student’s specific requirement, especially with Special Education, Rehabilitation and Safeguarding. Safeguarding and support being her key responsibilities, she encourages strong values of protection and confidentiality for students and staff alike. With her qualifications and experience, Lauretta as a SENCO (Special educational needs coordinator) prioritizes a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere for students at Westlink.

Throughout her 26 year career, Anya has been fortunate enough to be able to work in some amazing international IB schools in Asia and Europe and is thrilled to add Westlink International School to that list! Having spent 16 years as a PYP homeroom teacher, Anya transitioned into a leadership role 10 years ago. Since then she has been a PYP coordinator and Director of Teaching and Learning. Besides having the honour to work alongside some phenomenal inquiry practitioners, one of the greatest highlights of her job has always been her continued work with the students in her schools, whether it be running research sessions with the 5th graders during their PYP Exhibition, reading stories to the grade 1 students for mother-tongue language celebrations or helping to support grade 3 students on developing their Learner Profile attributes. Anya believes in a strong home-school partnership and looks forward to supporting the Westlink families in better understanding the IBPYP curriculum framework. In her free time Anya enjoys swimming, reading and cooking!

Subsequently, Daisy graduated from the University of Chester with an advanced qualification in Education. To enhance her leadership skills Daisy is now undertaking an NPQLT. Daisy loves Vietnamese culture and cuisine and when she gets the opportunity, she enjoys exploring other cities and provinces Vietnam has to offer. Daisy also enjoys walking, running, photography, cooking, playing board games and spending time with her family, friends and three cats.

Committed to play-based learning and open-ended activities, Kamila fosters environments where students can organically discover the world, enhancing their confidence and language skills. Her leadership in multiple stage productions has notably boosted students’ use of non-native languages and self-assurance. As she prepares to teach the introduction years of the IB Primary Years Program, Kamila is eager to contribute innovative teaching practices to ensure a progressive international school program.

Lauren is excited to join the Westlink community and she looks forward to settling in to Vietnam. During her down time Lauren likes to read, travel, and walk her dog.

Dan received his PGCE from Bishop Grosseteste University, UK. Outside of teaching, Mr. Dan finds joy in exploring new destinations in South East Asia and embarking on culinary adventures. Mr. Dan is also spending his spare time to work on further qualifications with an MEd in Advanced Teaching and Leading Teacher Development.

Sonia is excited to join the Westlink International School team and looks forward to relocating to Hanoi and learning more about Vietnam and its culture, especially the food. In her spare time, Sonia enjoys reading, baking and travelling.
