At Westlink, learning goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. This week, our MYP and MRC students proudly showcased their Interdisciplinary Projects which is an annual event where academic knowledge merges with real-world understanding.
Each grade explored a different global topic through multiple subject lenses:
-
Grade 6: Climate Change
-
Grade 7: The World of Senses
-
Grade 8: Religious Architecture with a focus on Buddhism
These projects were the result of weeks of research, inquiry, and collaboration, encouraging students to connect disciplines such as Science, Individuals & Societies, Art, and Design to form a more complete understanding of the world around them.
Visitors to the exhibition were treated not only to beautiful student displays but also to an array of interactive experiences. From hands-on science experiments and physical challenges to vibrant musical performances, the entire event was a celebration of creativity, critical thinking, and global awareness.
This gallery of learning reflected the spirit of the MYP and MRC, encouraging students to ask big questions, explore multiple perspectives, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
👏 Well done to all our students for bringing your ideas to life that you’ve shown how powerful learning becomes when disciplines connect!
