Book Week 2025 brought our school community together in a joyful celebration of literature, language, and the power of stories. From colorful door decorations to creative workshops, students were immersed in a world where reading truly came alive.
A highlight of the week was the inspiring visit from Vietnamese author Hoài Anh, who enchanted students with her storytelling and encouraged them to express their unique voices through writing. Her warmth and wisdom left a lasting impression on both students and teachers alike.
Our classrooms turned into mini story worlds, with each decorated door representing a different book, character, or theme. The creativity and effort on display reflected the deep connection our students have with reading.
In Secondary, students dived into a Scavenger Hunt filled with riddles and hidden clues, testing their critical thinking and observation skills. They also joined a creative writing workshop where they brainstormed story ideas, built characters, and developed their own narratives.
More than just a celebration, Book Week at Westlink is a reminder of how books can shape minds and build empathy. It’s an annual tradition that fosters curiosity, self-expression, and a lasting love for literature.
Thank you to all the students, teachers, and families who made this week unforgettable. As we close this chapter, we look forward to the next—filled with even more stories, imagination, and discovery. What an amazing Book Week it’s been—full of stories, imagination, and creativity!
📖 Until next year, keep exploring, imagining, and turning the page!
