In the Sharing Planet unit, the PYP students from grade 1S embarked on an exciting adventure at Refillables Shop, where they discovered how to take care of our planet and why it’s important to reuse things they already have.
Students learnt that one out of every four things we throw away could end up in the ocean. That’s why reusing is so important. They also had the opportunity to learn about yummy foods and create their own tasty granola pots. As a fun challenge, they were tasked with finding a creative way to repurpose the jar from the day’s activity, encouraging them to think creatively and come up with something truly unique!
