Sign language is the final assembly of Term 1 was a truly meaningful event, highlighted by the creative ideas of the G2DB students. Aligned with the September theme of “Caring,” our fantastic students showcased various ways to communicate without words. They demonstrated hand signs for the deaf and mute, logos symbolizing organizations, and emojis to express emotions in online conversations.
They also showcased their talents by producing a short video that featured different language sign – warning, including those for danger, mandatory actions, life jackets, no smoking, ect. Additionally, the G2DB students performed a wonderful song – You are my sunshine, incorporating hand signs so that everyone could understand the lyrics.
As always, the assembly included a cheerful rendition of the Happy Birthday song to celebrate the students born in September. And we also have an exciting video from our acedemic with the song What does the fox say. To wrap up, Ms. Anya gave a sneak peek into next month’s IB Learner Profile focus by an amazing music video of teachers presenting the “Inquirer” attribute.
Stay tuned for the upcoming “Inquirer” assemblies!
