Westlink’s Teacher Induction Day

On 1-2 August 2022, in collaboration with the International Schools Partnership (ISP), Westlink International School held a 2-day teacher’s induction program with the participation of more than 90 attendees from teachers, staff to leaders.

Westlink conducted an induction program that focused on academic success with emphasis on teaching and leadership and tailored activities to meet the needs of the upcoming school year as well as for the school’s annual training plan.

Induction goes beyond understanding students, classes, and curriculum. It also provides information about the school systems and processes that guide the workplace, school norms and most importantly, the welfare and learning of students. The content delivered by keynote speakers was very specific and open, aimed to provide information about ISP’s policies and the educational orientation of Westlink International School.

The induction kicked off with an inspiring and motivating speech from Mr. Andy Nicol, Divisional CEO for Asia, which was followed by a presentation from Ms. Rosy Hoang, the Regional Managing Director for Vietnam & Thailand, both of whom promoted the ISP advantage of global support and collaboration.
