Getting active and keeping the sports spirit alive, Westlink International school held the annual Sports Day today. This year’s motto is “Sports are an enabler to an inclusive and fit society.” which embodies Westlink’s philosophy to create a sociable and healthy environment for the students.
The campus resounded with the cheering for different houses on various sports games and saw marvelous performances by our talented students. Starting off with a high-spirit opening message and cheerleading dance, students did a house cheer for their teams and together stood for the Oath of Sportsmanship. The events included basketball, running and relay games. Our athletes displayed exceptional athleticism and sportsmanship while young basketball players had a blast scoring goals, making it a thrilling experience for all those in attendance. The highlight of the day was the relay race, where parents and students from the four houses battled it out in a test of speed, collaboration, and teamwork.
The sports day concluded with a ceremony to honor the outstanding performers. Trophies, medals and shields were awarded to winners in various categories, recognizing their dedication and achievement. It’s time to shout out to:
️Overall 1st place: Red Lotus
